Offering the same high-performance features as a traditional kayak but in an inflatable body, the Sevylor Pointer one-person kayak is made for performance and reliability. The Pointer is made of durable 20-gauge PVC, with an ABS structural frame that sheds water beautifully. As a result, the Pointer gracefully glides through whitewater, with a whitewater spray cover and apron to protect your lower extremities. The kayak also includes such rugged construction details as a pointed, rigid bow and stern, a flat bottom design, and an extra-durable fabric-reinforced bottom and sides.

The Pointer is comfortable enough for daylong trips thanks to the padded seat, which includes a backrest for support. Storage-wise, the kayak features a rear cargo hatch with a cover, bungee lacing on the deck, and four tie-downs for securing topside cargo or a spare paddle. The road from Sevylor's founding in 1948 to its current role as the dominant supplier of a wide range of inflatables--such as kayaks, boats, and towables--is a long one, with plenty of original inventions and innovations along the way. The road from Sevylor's founding in 1948 to its current role as the dominant supplier of a wide range of inflatables--such as kayaks, boats, and towables--is a long one, with plenty of original inventions and innovations along the way. Established in a city suburb of Vitry, France, by electronics engineer Berco Grimbert, Sevylor originally built electrical accessories, with a sideline business dedicated to using its high-frequency welding machines to manufacture PVC consumer goods. The Thule 9006 Gateway 2-Bike Trunk/Strap Mount Rack quickly secures to trunk and/or hatchback seams with multiple straps just like other strap carrier, but also contains unique features rarely seen in carriers in its price range. The first of these is its easy-to-use, patented FitDial hub adjustment system. Built around angle Quick-Fit adjusting levers at the right and left of the unit's hub and utilizing a precise easy-to-remember number system, it provides for a perfect and easy to replicate fit to your vehicle exterior every time you mount the carrier. Next are the Gateway's detachable no-sway cage elements which attach and extend below each of the rubberized Stay-Put cradles that support your bike frame along the top of the carrier arms. These no-sway attachments, used in conjunction with Stay-Put cradles and their securing straps, dramatically reduce front-to-back and side-to-side bike frame movement, delivering bike stability on the road that borders on that enjoyed by much more expensive bike carriers. In addition to this, the easy maneuverability of the carrier arms allow for convenient and quick movement up or down to the precise place you need them.
